Management and coordination
The aim of this work package is to provide a description of the management and coordination specified to ensure a successfully run project and details of the plans for reporting and meetings. A project board (the coordinator and WP leaders) will be created to monitor PlasticTrace activities, facilitate the completion of deliverables to meet the deadlines set and take responsibility for frequent communication between the participants.

Andrea M. Giovannozzi is a permanent researcher of the “Physical chemistry and Nanotechnology” group at INRIM and head of the Biosafety Class 2 lab. His main research activities concerns the development of sensisitve and innovative analytical methodologies, mainly based on vibrational spectroscopy techniques (FT-IR, Raman Spectroscopy, SERS), for the detection of a wide range of contaminants in food and environmental matrices, including micro and nanoplastics. He led several tasks in different European metrological projects (Ind15SurfChem, IND56 Q-AIMDS, MetvsBadBugs and FP7 SetNanoMetro). He is part of the management team of the National Metrological infrastructure for food safety (IMPreSA) and the European Metrology Network on Food Safety (Food-MetNet). He is a member of Organic Analysis working group/CCQM at BIPM and chair of the VAMAS TWA45 “Micro and Nano Plastics in the Environment “, LRE for ISO147/SC2/JWG1.
